Job Description:
Responsible for all consulting project delivery activities. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment. Project management responsibilities include project status, issues and time reporting. Financial responsibilities include verification of time worked to time billed as requested by manager. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Performs planning and deployment of Open Source Software infrastructure including: Requirements analysis, Linux/OSS Migration planning, Linux Migration Cost/Benefit analysis, Implementation Planning, Application integration, Security assessment and management, Systems and Project documentation or developing web-based applications, configuration utilities, database configurations, and other complex applications. Languages are typically Perl, Python, Java, C++ and other high level languages. Willing and able to travel as required. RHCE Certification is mandatory. Requires a BS degree and at least 8 years experience or equivalent experience and working knowledge of system architecture and programming languages.Fluency in english is mandatory.
